We know that our products make a real difference to our clients and their families.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>THE ROLE</strong> | The role of the <strong>Underwriter - Motor</strong> is to assist with the management of the risk exposure of the company from its core business, ensuring that it yields a profit while achieving the targeted gross income and market share, managing relationships with third party producers, and achieving customer excellence.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>THE PERSON | </strong>To be the ideal candidate, you must have:</p><ul><li>Three (3) - Five (5) years’ experience working in the Insurance industry, with a minimum 2 years underwriting experience</li><li>Minimum of five (5) CXC/GCE ‘O’ Level passes inclusive of Mathematics &amp; English Language</li><li>Minimum of three (3) CAPE or A Level passes.</li><li>Completed Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Certificate Level OR equivalent qualification (will be an asset)</li><li>Completed or pursuing BSc. or higher qualification in Insurance &amp; Risk Management, Business Management, or any other related course of study (will be an asset)</li><li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs - Word &amp; Excel</li><li>Any equivalent combination of education &amp; experience.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>THE BENEFITS | </strong>An attractive remuneration and benefits package is being offered commensurate with the candidates’ experience.
